ATTENTION ON THE HORRIFIC BANGALDESH GENOCIDE OF '71.

Receiving Shankar International Award in Writing for Children, 1973 in New Delhi from Prime Minister Indira Ghandi for writing "Memoirs of a Child", my memories of the 9 months of hell in 1971 at age 11, and the death of my Uncle and other family members.

The holocust of 71 is something that we all need to remember, and to push the truth. Remember, there is only one truth, and millions of lies. Just like that there are the heroes of 1971: the dead, the raped, the scarred living. Then there are the liars who wear the cloak of heroism, fat, fit and rich, espousing tales of  false valour.

He who forgets the past is destined to relive it! We cannot forget the Bangladesh War of Independence, as the lessons learned are of utmost import today. Particularly what we see today in Africa where the same RAPE as a weapon of war is being used brutally beyond description. THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

This website  is in it's infancy, so please be kind. I will try to develop it over the next couple of months, from the dirt up, with a point of view that only a dirt Farmer like me can have: a strong, flavorful, and deadly poignant story that needs to be told. More importantly, this GENOCIDE OF 71 needs to be told so that we can start to try to understand RAPE AS A WEAPON of war that is so prevalent today in Africa, especially, in the CONGO.
